All you need to know about salt water and your Traxxas boat

It’s quite tempting to want to take your Traxxas Spartan to test on every single waterbody around, including saltwater bodies. However, we do not recommend you make waves on salt water with your Traxxas boat. 

Saltwater is highly corrosive, which could cause damage to your boat. Damage caused by corrosion is not covered under the Traxxas warranty. If you still want to show off your cool boat and your boat riding skills on saltwater, you must ensure you flush it out with fresh water and lubricate the drive system after each use.
